Went with my two older brothers and Dad while visiting GJ. We got two Agavero’s Specials, and these platters were packed. Little surprises on the platter that we enjoyed were the sauteed mushrooms and green onions. Also!! Their oysters were delicious (we order half a dozen without ceviche). Service was fantastic, and we will return on our next trip out to Grand Junction.

A lovely small restaraunt with delicious food! The staff were friendly and attended the table frequently enough to refill and replenish our table. The feel of the restaraunt was pleasant and the decor was all custom, making it feel nicer to dine in.

Found this place on yelp and glad we did. We were seated immediately and given water and menus. Chips and salsa showed up immediately and did not disappoint, both authentic. I ordered the pork caritas and they were soft and juicy with an amazing flour in a corn tortilla with rice, beans, guacamole and hot salsa. We also ordered the pork tamale and toco. Neither disappointed. I hosts Iris, side with my wife in terms of the large margarita. If you driving go with the small because the large was huge! Iris gave great service and was a joy to talk too Parking was ample but this is not a big place so i am sure it gets busy. We were they around 11:30am. Highly recommend! Authentic mexican food!

Delicious dinner, the asada with the hurrachas was great, the combo meal I had was good too. The cheese dip was good, it could have had more flavor however. The salsa was the best we’ve had in the area. The margarita was excellent, not too sweet, we loved it.

1st time here. Clean, busy and staff were very friendly and helpful. The place was jumpy. Very popular place-how had I never heard about it? Had to wait only 5 minutes for a table- felt bad it was just me so decided to eat and run. Order a cold Corona and the 3 Asada Taco. I was hoping for Street tacos and wasnt disappointed! More than I could eat and with some of the best refried beans I've tasted in awhile. Everything was great and I now have another great restaurant to patron during my lunch breaks.

I wouldn't known what "authentic" Mexican food is. I do know that the food here at Agaveros is good. I'm hooked on the fried burrito and the taquitos. It is always fresh and for the times the price is good. Service is always fast and friendly. Plates come out fast and even though there's many choices on the menu, it is not overwhelming. Margheritas and cold beer ad to the ambience. I heard good things about Agaveros before we went. Don't take my word, try it for yourself!

Finally!!! I just moved here from Texas and have been searching for a Mexican restaurant that actually had spicy Mexican food. In Texas we rate the restaurant by the table salsa and the margaritas. The salsa was nice and hot chips fresh and salty the margaritas bang on. The service was really good, the restaurant was clean and inviting. I had the Chef's Choice which is Tacos De Birria excellent. I'm so happy I can officially live here now.
